Setting up the Algae Scrubber. I love ATS. Algae will always grow in the tank. I rather have them grow inside my ATS than in the displays!

@scott_tang@P1u5h13r4m24, you’re having new tank syndrome. If corals are growing well and not algae issues then no need for it.
My current tanks have a bunch of bubble and hair algae. I never had that problem before with any of my previous setups. They all run ATS. In fact, the last one before this ran with ATS only near the end.
I like skimmer for the PH boost. In reality, skimmers remove food from your tank far more than ATS.
Most people run ATS incorrectly imo. They don’t adjust flow or light intensity to control nutrient exports. They just run it full blast and complain that it removes too much… well no shit! 😂
