This mother colony was purchased with this 40 gallon tank in February 2022, and the owner mistook it for a brain coral. There was 7 live heads of 12 fully grown heads, and it was bleached and dying, living in 16 Alkalinity. I somehow was able to nurse it back to health, and it has since produced 30+ healthy heads. I am calling it "Reef Wizard Farms (RWF) Purple Tipped Hammer" Because the lineage and origin are unknown. photo taken 05-29-26
