@AceReefCoralsFlow should surround your Torch Corals not just the top. Getting flow under the coral and up to the flesh bands promotes growth and circulation to the entire polyp not just the tips.

They grow faster too! It’s just hard to do in a normal display for various reasons. Much easier to achieve perfect flow and lighting in a frag tank.
This is why we see a lot of super nice SPS frags from the big vendors. They cook them into perfection under a very customized environment.

@AceReefCorals@scott_tang, Agreed! I do find though that corals grow better (especially sps, in a display mounted to rock or cycled media. I believe it has to do with all the coral consuming the beneficial bacteria attached to the cycled media
